June 19th: St. Ignace Pride Festival, Opening Movement

I am thrilled and honored to be joining Straits Pride for the first ever St. Ignace Pride Festival!

The event takes place on June 19th at the American Legion Memorial Park in downtown St. Ignace, and will span from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

At 10 a.m. sharp, I’ll lead an opening movement experience in honor of PRIDE, Juneteenth, and the over-arching theme of radical self-acceptance and love. Afterward, we’ll do a craft and have a delicious lunch.

For the movement, expect fun, up-beat, Pose-inspired music featuring iconic LGBTQ+ artists, free dance, calisthenics, sweat and savasana. Wear sneakers, comfy clothing and bring a yoga mat if you have one.
